american association of public health dentistry

The main motto of American Association of Public Health Dentistry provides a focus to meet the challenge to improve oral health which was founded in 1937. AAPHD membership is open to all individuals concerned with improving the oral health with the treatment to the public. It also accepts the challenge to improve overall oral health for all the individuals through the development and support of dental programs of oral health promotion and disease prevention. This association aims to boost awareness and educate their members on issues within the scope of public health dentistry. The American Association of Public Health Dentistry associating with a research with group of dental students, dental hygiene students, and dental faculty members who are shown interested is also being involved with public oral health. The main rule of dentistry mission is to promote the importance of oral health, treatment strategies within the underserved community, and to provide opportunities for dental students to be exposed to different aspects of health dentistry. It is also work for civic involvement, and develops leadership skills that foster to learn dental environment among people. Main focus shall be implemented for the oral health needs of the community by preventing the dental diseases, which promotes dental health through organized community efforts.
