American Aviation Historical Society

It’s a non-profit organization that publishes the aviation journal. It also holds record of the aviation photographs and the documents. It is also a periodic printing house that keeps on promoting the American Aviation through the journals and the newsletter. It was establishes in 1956 at Santa Ana, California. It is in one way preserving the rich aviation heritage of Americas. “AAHS Flightline” an informative magazine that describes the interesting and little minute facts associated with the American aviation. People having common interest are united here. It’s been 50 years and the work of this society has been highly recognized and proclaimed by the Smithsonian National Air and the Space Museum. They have covered the documentation on WWI, WWII, The Korean and Vietnamese conflicts as well as the emergence of the civil aviation from the Wright Brothers.

The American aircraft industry and the behind the scenes design are revealed only to the members. One can easily learn the triumphs and the boondoggles which are associated with the development and the testing of military and civilian aircrafts. The one who is associated with the aviation history can easily get access to over 50,000periodicals, negatives and rare books present in the society’s collection. One can exchange the contacts through the Wants and Disposals service and can locate those critical items needed for the collection round.
