American Indian Science and engineering society was created by American Indian Scientists, engineers and educators in 1977.  The association with a quickly expanding membership of more than 4,000 individual associates. The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) tolerates 189 commissioned college and university chapters .The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is a national, non-profit organization fixated on significantly growing the representation of American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders, First Nations and other original peoples of North America in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) studies and careers.

AISES affords opportunities for American Indians and Native Alaskans to track studies in science, engineering, business and other academic stadiums. The trained professionals then become technologically educated leaders within the Indian community. AISES’ definitive goal is to be a compound for the advancement of American Indians and Native Alaskans as they pursue to developed self-reliant and self-determined members of society.  AISES offers economic, hypothetical and cultural support to American Indians and Alaska Natives from middle school complete graduate school. AISES provides dedicated development activities to enable teachers to effort effectively with Native students. It also develops traditionally appropriate curricula and publications.AISES is an unlimited association that is completed up by seven regions. These counties encompass the United States and Canada. The AISES assignment is to growth extensively the representation of American Indian and Alaskan Natives in engineering, science and other related technology disciplines.  American Indians live on lands with abundant natural resources and potential for development.
