American Sugarbeet Growers Association unites the sugar beet growers in the United States and promotes the interest of state as well as regional beet grower associations, which include both legislative and international representation and public relations. Members from   American Sugarbeet Growers Association represent 10,000 farmers in all 11 producing states i.e. California, Colorado, Idaho, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming. Board of Directors donated their time and knowledge to American Sugarbeet Growers Association in order to represent their growers’ interests in maintaining a strong, profitable, efficient and productive industry. They and their fellow farmers are dedicated in supplying a portion of the consumer’s sweetener needs. The Farmers, member and board of directors accepts a responsibility and they take it seriously and proudly accept. The first modified sugarbeet originated in the middle of 18^th Century. According the recent survey, Sugar beet production is increased 63,904 short tons, raw value to 9 Million resulting from new sugar crop. The Association represents the American Suger beet Growers before the legislative and monitors related activities in the Nation’s Capital This Association helps to coordinate activities of mutual interest with domestic sugar and sweetener producing Companies and also other general agri-based industry and farm commodity groups. Association Mainly responsible for the Promotion of the honourable, economical, efficient and useful conduct of the beet sugar industry in the United States.
