The Asian Society of Paediatric Anaesthesiologists (ASPA) was initially mooted in 1999 amongst individuals from the Department of Paediatric Anaesthesia, KK Women's and Children's Hospital Singapore. Paediatric anaesthesia associates from different Asian nations were counselled. With much good reactions, a Pro-Tem board for ASPA was framed.
ASPA intended to give Asian partners a stage to share thoughts, strategies and encounter solutions for problems. As a stage for collaboration between Asian nations with various medicinal services needs and capacities, we planned to have the capacity to shape a system in which students from less blessed anaesthesia groups may profit by preparing partnerships in others. Likewise purposely kept and registration expenses for Scientific gatherings underneath what numerous consider internationally acknowledged rates, in order to support more Asian participation. The Society was authoritatively enrolled in Singapore on the 11th August 1999. And the president is Dr. Andi Ade Wr Fauzi
