Association de Neuro-Anesthésie Réanimation de Langue Française –ANARLF

The ANARLF is also known with a name SFAR (S ompany F rench of A nesthésie and R éanimation).  According to law 1901, sfar is an association with a purpose of promoting advancement in the study of anesthesia and resuscitation. The ANARLF association was established in 30 June, 1934 with the name Societe Francaise d etude de I’Anesthesie et de I’Analgesie. Then the Society was renamed as Societe Francaise d Anesthesie ET de Reanimations in 1957. In 1960, Association des Anesthesiologistes Francais (AAF) was created and in 1982 the two societes were merged to create Societe Francaise d Anesthesie ET de Reanimations (SFAR). The ANARLF association working on three main objectives: Supporting research in anesthesia and intensive care, Promoting dissemination of innovations and providing vocational training and scientific knowledge related to anesthesia. The SFAR organizes anesthesia related conferences and workshops to create awareness and to promte ongoing research in this field. Recently, a congress named ‘Anesthsie Reanimation Urgences Douleur’ was held in Paris during 22-24 September, 2016. In upcoming events a workshop ‘Perioperative fluid therapy’ is going to be held in Paris. .
The association publishes research in two journals: Anesthesia & Resuscitation (Anrea) and Anaesthesia. Strong investments were made ​​to implement the idea of delivery of grants and contracts to the young researchers and youth teams.
