With the initiation in the late 1960s, it gained its progress & then it was known as Partial Hospitalization Study Group (PHSG).Among its procedures, Partial Hospitalization & Intensive Outpatient Programs are play a vital component. Through its programs, its vision is to offer education, advocacy and support .AABH has developed certain standards & guidelines which were initially originated in 1982 following the most recent consolidates standards in 2012 & finally implementing the updated version of standards available by January 2015.AABH focuses & adopts an idea of a full continuum of care. It has a great report from the past. AABH has developed a mutual collaboration with the Behavioural Pathway Systems (BPS) for the development & implementation of the AABH industry surveys. The BPS in-turn conducts process benchmarking workshops at AABH annual conferences. This idea is basically created to track and measure client satisfaction that is unique in its type. AABH conducts monthly practice webinars for members and non-members, which provide Continuing Education Units for upkeep of certification, and are stored in a database for future reference at a minimal cost .It also sponsors a national & regional conference which comprise of noted behavioural healthcare professionals. It highlights the current trending topics, information & program quality within the healthcare industry.
