Association of Architects of Macedonia

Association of Architects of Macedonia founded in 1952 in Skopje as a Society of Architects in Macedonia. From 1980 - 1999 they worked as the Union of Architects of Macedonia (CAM) than in 1999 it has changed to the Association of Architects of Macedonia (AAM). AAM is a civic association which, according to the Law it organizes and operates on a territorial principle by Branches or Sections of the branches. AAM is a non-profit organization and assets acquired on that basis (membership fees, donations, etc.) are used to support and achieve their own goals and activities determined by the work program and the provisions of the Statute of AAM. Association today encompasses architects in the fields of architecture, urban planning, construction, and interior design. Within the Association there is Architectural Academy (AA) which has nineteen members najvidni architects - doyen of Macedonian architecture. Academy members have won the prize for life's work and great achievements in the field of architecture "Andrea Damjanov."
