Association of Chartered Engineers of Iceland

The Association of Chartered Engineers of Iceland was founded in 1968 by a group of regional engineering organizations, under the support of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and cultural Organizations (UNESCO) in Reykjavik.  The Association of Chartered Engineers of Iceland encourages all of its national and international members to contribute to ecumenical efforts to initiate a sustainable, equitable and peaceful world by providing an international perspective. ACEI is enabling mechanism to provide advice and direction to the engineering profession on issues of concern to the public or the profession, serve society and to be identified, by country wide and global companies and the public, as a respected and valuable source of advice and information on the policies, pastimes and issues that relate engineering and technology to the human and herbal surroundings. The mission of ACEI is to represent the engineering vocation internationally, providing the collective sagacity and leadership of the vocation to avail national agencies opiate congruous policy options that address the most analytical issues affecting countries of the world and To make information on engineering obtainable to the countries of the world and to facilitate communication between its member nations about the world’s best practices in key engineering activities.
