Association of Gastroenterologists & Hepatologists of Bosnia & Herzegovina

Bosnia and Herzegovinia Gastroenterology and Hepatology Association started in 2008; ECCO is a fast rising and highly energetic non-profit association: focusing on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), stand-in inside Europe and encouraging collaboration outside Europe’s edges. The European Crohn's and Colitis Organisation (ECCO), recognized in 2001 to improve the care of patients through inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in Europe, is now the major forum for specialists in IBD in the world. It is a non-revenue association, which successfully prolonged from an organisation comprising 14 Country groups to an association meeting 36 member states of the board of Europe and facilitating collaborations outside Europe's boundaries. In 2009, we introduced separate membership allowing anyone around the world attracted in IBD to together revenue from our programmes and facilities and to join us in our work. ECCO's work is to improve the care of patients with IBD in all its parts through global rules for preparation, teaching, research and collaboration in the area of IBD. We influence IBD management through the change, journals, dissemination and teaching of IBD guidelines and other educational supplies. We facilitate and promote the education of health care professionals in the field of IBD (including of the physicians,  the surgeons, the radiologists, the pathologists, the endoscopists, the nurse specialists and the allied professions). We organize (inter)national technical and learning exchange programmes in the area of IBD. We improve the worth of study in the area of IBD, both in plan skill (i.e. organising pathogenesis yards) and clinical learning (i.e. development of IBD study protocols). We promote and funding national and international IBD research energies.
