Australian Paediatric Orthopaedic Society

The Australian Pediatric Orthopedic Society, advancing incompletely from the Pediatric Orthopedic Special Interest Group, was set up in 1991 to enhance the treatment of youngsters with orthopedic conditions through better instruction and research and by shaping unions with worldwide orthopedics social orders, for example, POSNA (the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America) and EPOS (the European Pediatric Orthopedic Society). Under the inaugural administration of Malcolm Menelaus, APOS held its first exploratory meeting in blend with the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of New Zealand in Tauranga, New Zealand.
