The Autism Society of British Columbia (ASBC) is a parent based and directed society that has been working to provide support to individuals and families affected by autism since 1975. The ASBC is a founding member of the Provincial and Territorial Council of Autism Canada (formerly Autism Society Canada and Autism Canada Foundation), as well as a proud member of the Canadian Autism Spectrum Disorders Alliance (CASDA). For over 40 years the Autism Society of BC has worked to support those individuals and families touched by autism. ASBC aims to promote understanding, acceptance and full community inclusion of people with autism in British Columbia, while providing support for the realization of the rights and informed choices of individuals with autism and their families.
