Autism Working Group Yukon

Autism Yukon is basically a non-profit organization which is very seriously dedicated to supporting families, parents, care givers and individuals having been living in close contact with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The members are guided by a Board of Directors comprised of parents with children who have ASD and caring community members. This serves as an added advantage since the parents and caregivers are the best people to understand the distress and discomforts in day to day life of autistic persons. The main purpose of this body is to provide support, public awareness, training, advocacy, and resources for not only the autistic child or adult but also to their nearest kin. Autism Yukon's mandate is to make life better for those affected by Autism in the Yukon. The society strives in every way to alleviate the sufferings of autism diagnosed ones.
