The Bay Area Association of Medical Instrumentation, earlier Suncoast Biomedical Society was established in the 1990's, by a group of Biomed experts and Clinical engineers along with fellow technicians, willing to impart their skill and experiences.
BAAMI was re-built up in April 8, 2005, as a section of the Florida Biomedical Society (FBS). This association is keen in continuing learning about the advancement of biomedical equipment technology.
