Brazilian Association of Fashion Designers established in 2003 with aims to strengthen and promote Brazilian design and fashion. Association exporting to 53 countries it’s fosters products, it includes the Dutch Antilles, Bolivia, the Philippines, Paraguay, Thailand and Tanzania. In the year 2014 fourth and fifth editions of Salao +B were held in the month of May and November respectively. It was organized by ABEST in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). The editions gathered around 80 national brands.
ABEST started a mission of promoting unique Brazilian fashion and . initiatives for different markets, specifically the foreign market. It is worth stating that in 2014 the USA was still Brazil's biggest trader. They intend to continue blazing the trail for advancement and recognition of the Brazilian DNA in the world. Their work is a reflection of achievements made through activities.
