British Association of Spine Surgeons

Mr. Naffis Anjarwalla   in the year 2012,(BASS) The British Association of Spine Surgeons enthusiastically promotes the study of spinal disorders with particular attention to the surgical treatment of spinal disease and disorders. In the year 2013, the Great Physician named as John O’Dowd gave a new innovatory idea for this surgery. The NIHR Evaluation, Trials and Studies (NETSCC) Coordinating Centre, based at the University of Southampton, which manages evaluation research, programmes and activities for the NIHR President .The objective   of (BASS) is to promote the expansion of treatment of spinal disorders through education, research and study for the benefit of the public settled in  United Kingdom.

There are numerous   Spine Surgeon worldwide, both national and international. However, BASS stands out to be one of the most renowned societies both in Europe or worldwide.  Some of these societies are working on specific topics such as orthopaedic, vertebrae, intervertebral disc, Spinal Cord surgery and also it includes plastic surgery ,nerve biopsy, neurectomy.
