It is a professional body of doctors in the Canadian province of British Columbia. Doctors of BC was established in January 1900 by Dr R.E. McKechnie, a specialist from Nanaimo, as President. The Association was established on two essential standards; the first to monitor and fortify financial security and second to advance instruction so that the best restorative personalities had a discussion to share the learning of the calling. Enrollment was interested in BC specialists with a yearly expense of just $2.00. The principal yearly meeting, held in August 1900, opened with a location by the President on "The Relation of the Profession to Politics".
