Canadian Dam Association

The Canadian Dam Association is a gathering of dam Owners, Operators, Regulators, Consultants and Suppliers fascinated by dams and supplies. The CDA gives a get-together to the exchanging of contemplations and inclusion in the field of dam prosperity, open security and affirmation of the earth. Our fundamental objective is to bolster joint effort, advance specific learning and amass competency related to dams. To finish this, our goals are to:

  • Encourage careful practices and organization for the length of the life cycle of dams

  • Foster a care and understanding of dams and related issues
  • Disseminate and exchange information and data related to dams

The CDA is not a statutory or managerial affiliation; we don't deal with the advancement and operation of dams, nor do we coordinate the demonstration of dam planning. Nor is the CDA a bolster affiliation – our favorable position is not in propelling dams, yet rather progressing impressiveness in dam outlining, advancement and operation. In any case, we do count amongst our people delegates from Provincial and Territorial dam regulatory bodies, and we have corporate people who have interests either as proprietors, pros and suppliers, and offer the CDA's goal of sharing contemplations and experience.

CDA is a section society of the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC), which makes and advances continuing with direction and moreover pushing the qualities and favorable circumstances of planning.
