CANADIAN SOCIETY OF MICROBIOLOGY

The study of biological science encompasses all kinds of microorganisms starting from bacterium and their associated virus to eukaryotes (fungi, different lower eukaryotes and cell cultures) and their associated viruses. CSM divided into three sections: Applied and Environmental biological science, Infection and Immunity and genetics and Cellular biological science. It’s recognized that these three broad areas do have overlap each in analysis technique further as scientific interest. it's hoped that you simply can all notice a scientific home inside one in every of these sections. The CSM may be a non-profit organization with near five hundred members that embody unearned, emeritus, ordinary, student and sustaining members. Our members embody national government agencies, umbrella organizations for many societies and different Canadian biological societies. At the educational level, the CSM has University school and Student representatives.  We area unit happy to announce the introduction of a replacement CACMID initiative to produce a forum for discussion, idea-sharing, problem-solving, and collaboration inside the Canadian biological science community.
