Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists

The Mission of the Society is to advance the professions of the energy geosciences as it aspires to foster the scientific, technical learning and skilled development of its members and to  grab the attention of the profession to business and also the public. Advancement in  the scientific, technical and skilled development opportunities of its members Continually apply and adapt electronic communication to the dissemination of science and   technology to the members is the effective approach .Advances in  earth sciences of  Canada  is done by encouraging scientific developments as  it relates it  to crude and different energy geosciences .Its objectives is to develop a way of pride and community for all Canadian Energy Geoscientists; Advance the national recognition and status of the Society each among Canada and international scale. CSPG  is the member of higher importance. The CSPG works to advance the science of earth science, foster skilled development of members and promote community awareness of the profession. The organization was based on December seventeen, 1927 because the Canadian province Society of crude Geologists in metropolis and was modelled with the advent of the American Association of crude Geologists.
