Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada

Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada is a professional association of Traditional Medicine and Acupuncture (TCM). It is established in the year 1983 and achieved great success in all the areas. The Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada are headquartered in London Ontario and the day to day operations are run by 3 capable administrators Elsa, Kelly and Jacqueline. It is an association of Canada with non-profit and charitable organisation registered with Federal Government and also recognised by WHO organisation. The main objectives of CMAAC is accepting only high standards of education and training for practitioners. CMAAC association is conducting international conferences and symposiums to assist in the scientific exchange of research and also to promote about acupuncture and TCM.CMAAC contains 8 offices across Canada. TCM and Acupuncture is a valuable part of mainstream culture. In 1987, CMAAC became a member society of the world federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS). The Chinese medicine and acupuncture Association was established to unite practitioners and to lobby the govt. for the Regulation of ancient Chinese medication and stylostixis. CMAAC’s objectives include: the unification of practitioners of Japanese and Western medication, the institution of high standards of education and coaching for practitioners, the promotion of the profession, attending at international conferences and organization of conferences to help within the scientific exchange of analysis, and also the education of the general public through seminars and lectures. CMAAC has fostered alliances with the provincial and federal governments, and assists the Ministry of Health on several assignments.
