Cirrus Owners & Pilots Association

COPA is a non-profit membership organization created to educate, promote safety and support certified aircraft owners and pilots manufactured by Cirrus Aircraft Company. COPA has an office in Las Vegas, Nevada, with one paid staff member who provides services to its members. It encourages ownership of these aircraft and provide online interaction, training and social activities programs for the members. Additionally, COPA will promote goodwill towards the general aviation community. COPA members have many opportunities to socialize from the interaction of the COPA forums, sharing of information and experience relating to the possession and fly airplanes Cirrus. There are many face to face events in conjunction with education and safety programs such as PPPC and CDM, and fly in the annual migration, which include social events planned. Regional fly-ins held worldwide includes educational programs, unique flight opportunities and social activities. In addition to the benefits of membership mentioned before COPA have a number of other benefits and services. Technical Liaison work is carried out with Cirrus and other key suppliers that provide feedback on critical problem. Special pricing and access is provided from key suppliers such as aviation database and insurance providers. COPA brand merchandise is available through the COPA online store and a forum on the COPA market is available to facilitate the purchase and sale between two members and suppliers. COPA offers a recurrent and advanced training for owners and drivers through a series of regular training programs and periodic seminars. The Cirrus Pilot Proficiency Program or PPPC is a periodic training experience full weekend planned across the US and around the world. This program is extended to the University COPA, with opportunities for advanced training and delivery methods. The half-day seminar critical decision making is also available worldwide to improve driver safety. Seminars are planned in the framework of regional and annual migration to and three days in that cover other flying and property topics relevant events. COPA has a wide range of information channels for members. They include online forums covering all areas subject to the drivers or owners would be interested. Online posts and chats on are maintained and available via a powerful search function. In addition, an online encyclopedia and a bi-monthly magazine covering the important property and flying subjects, including owners experiences. All back issues are archived.
