Dutch Society for Glycobiology

  1. The Dutch Society for Glycobiology is an expert association founded in 1978. The society provides a platform for Dutch researchers and their partners from industry that offer an interest in carbohydrate structure and Glycobiology in general. The individuals from the general public shape an interdisciplinary group including among others molecular and medical biologists, physicists and natural chemists and biotechnologists. All offer an interest in the complex structures and structural function connections of sugars and mixes including carbohydrates or saccharides, such as glycoproteins, glycolipids what's more, glycosaminoglycans, in organic frameworks. Since 2011, the Dutch Society for Glycobiology is one of the shared topics in the Netherlands Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. The aim of the Dutch Society for Glycobiology is to trade learning what's more, invigorate exploration and individual interchanges in Glycobiology.
