Engineering Student Societies' Council of Ontario (ESSCO)

Engineering Student Societies' Council of Ontario facilitates communication between 16 engineering student societies in Ontario. ESSCO represents about twenty four thousand engineering students at sixteen establishments to skilled Engineers Ontario, the Ontario Society of skilled Engineers, the Council of Ontario Deans of Engineering, and others. ESSCO brings EngSocs along at variety of conferences throughout the year to share student societies' best practices - serving to them learn from one another to enhance their services, operations and events for engineering students across Ontario.

Objectives

The objectives of ESSCO shall be, so as of priority and importance:

To represent undergrad engineering students within the province of Ontario in matters of common interest, and communicate with skilled associations, academia, trade and government on behalf of member faculties, however ne'er to:

a. Align with partisan organizations; or

b. get involved in problems in a roundabout way associated with engineering education and practice;

To facilitate centralized communication and data exchange between member engineering student societies, assist them in increasing their price to the common student;

To push associate in Nursing assist alternative organizations in promoting engineering as an exciting, difficult, and equitable profession, particularly to high school and school students.
