European Aids Clinical Society
The European Aids Clinical Society is a non-profit organisation formed with a mission to promote standards of care, research and educate awareness in HIV infection and its related co-infections. EAHS actively participates in the formulation of public health policy and also working with the aim of reducing HIV disease burden across Europe.
The core physical activity of European Aids clinical Society (EACS) is to prepare and educate the next generation of clinicians and researchers to reduce HIV infection and related infections. These training and educational programs conducted by EACS is mainly funded by the Society itself. It also receives funds from additional sponsors from all EACS industry partners includes Abbvie, Gilead, Janssen Cilag, and ViiV Healthcare as unconditional grants for the entire programme. These sponsors have no influence on the EACS educational programme on other activities conducted by the Society and produces course of actions for treatment of European HIV-positive adults in Europe. The English version is regularly updated by the guideline panels. EACS updates its unconditional work on publishing for every year in autumn and can be translated into additional languages.
