European Neurological Society

The European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS) is an autonomous, supranational relationship of national European neurosurgical social orders and individual individuals which orchestrates congresses, logical gatherings and symposia, including the biennial European Congress of Neurosurgery, the Annual EANS Meetings (in the past Vice-President Winter Meetings) and the European Training courses. The administrative body of the EANS is its Open Executive Committee which comprises of delegates from national part social orders and individual individuals. The Open Executive Committee meets in any event every year and further remarkable gatherings of the Committee can be called. The Board of Officers (Board) of the EANS actualizes the choices taken by the Open Executive Committee; if the Open Executive Committee is the "Parliament" of the EANS, the Board of Officers can be considered as its "bureau". The Board meets at any rate once every year, amid the EANS Annual Meeting, and regularly all the more as often as possible. Officers are chosen for a term of 2 years, which keeps running starting with one Annual Meeting then onto the next. The future President and Chair of the Training Committee are chosen by the Open Executive Committee, two years before their term starts. Every single other officer are chosen at the meeting of the Open Executive Committee which happens amid the Annual Meeting.
