European Sensory Science Society

The European Sensory Network is an outstanding international network of leading research institutions and industrial associates at the cutting edge of sensory sciences. The European Sensory Science Society (E3S) is a non-profit organization developed to share and gain knowledge and information exchange among national sensory science organisations to the researchers across Europe. It was founded in 1989 to meet the challenge of the rapidly growing sensory science within Europe and around the globe. A focus of ESN activities is on cross-border studies. Today, the European Sensory Network brings together and many organisations acting in European countries, and four other countries apart from Europe. The members also share their knowledge and expertise to explore the value and applications of sensory sciences in food and non-food industrial practices. ESN offers numerous closes cross border links between sensory scientists and industrial professionals. These sensory associations have proven to be very valuable. The well-established contacts among ESN members make it easy to plan and perform international studies in the sensory research, and guarantee exceptional research following universal standards. The main motto of European sensory association is to bring together national sensory science organizations from Europe. THE mission is to discuss in order to facilitate the growth of the European Sensory Science Society and also to develop several research activities, and knowledge and information exchange amongst national sensory science organisations in Europe.
