The aim of the european Society for Philosophy & psychological science is ‘to promote interaction between philosophers and psychologists on problems with common concern’. Psychologists, neuroscientists, linguists, computer scientists and biologists are inspired to report experimental, theoretical and clinical work that they decide to have philosophical significance; and philosophers are inspired to interact with the basic problems addressed by and arising out of such work. In recent years ESPP sessions have covered such topics as spacial concepts, theory of mind, attention, joint attention, reference, issues of consciousness, self-examination and self-report, emotion, perception, early numerical knowledge, infants’ understanding of intentionality, memory and time, motor imagery, counterfactuals, the semantics/pragmatics distinction, minimal art in linguistic theory, reasoning, vagueness, mental causing, action and agency, thought without language, externalism, hypnosis, and the interpretation of neuropsychological results. the european Society for Philosophy and psychology (ESPP) could be a organization in Europe that promotes discussion and analysis at the intersection of philosophy, psychological science and scientific discipline. it's the european counterpart of the american Society for Philosophy and psychological science. the primary joint conference of the 2 societies was held in barcelona in 2004. Annual membership dues are $60.00 per annum for faculty, $40.00 for post-docs and others with limited financial gain, and $25.00 for students. there is also a lifetime Membership option for $600.00. on-line membership and dues payment is on the market ` your use. Members are entitled to vote on all problems at the annual business meeting (including election of officers).
