The Flemish Gastroenterology Association was established in 1954 by a modest bunch of spearheading Dutch-speaking Belgian Gastroenterologists from Academic and non-Academic practices. The underlying point of the Association was to cultivate the learning of Gastroenterological and Hepato-Biliary sicknesses in Flanders and to spread the skill by sorting out Education in the Dutch dialect, the larger part dialect of Belgium. As far back as the VVGE has developed into a dynamic relationship with more than 350 paying individuals which try to be the significant gathering for instruction and connection open to everybody keen on Gastroenterology and Hepatology: gastroenterologists, specialists, radiologist, pathologists, and paediatricians. Polished skill and sociability is our trademark.
Every year a few logical gatherings are held: a Spring symposium in Elewijt, near Michele, concentrating on late advancements in clinical practice, a meeting managing clinical contextual analyses amid the Antwerp Medical Conference at the U of Antwerp in September, and a Fall Symposium toward the end of November, consistently at an alternate area in Flanders with chose points and welcomed speakers from Belgium and from abroad. What's more, we sort out concentrated post-graduate courses on themes, for example, Digestive Oncology, Proctology and Hepatology.
