French Societies for Cell Biology

French societies for cell biology are a community of biologists studying the cell, the fundamental unit of life. We are committed to progressing investigative disclosure, upholding, advocating sound research policies, improving education, promoting professional development. Here are a few figures that represent the SBCF today: 813 members, 143 affiliated teams, 1800 subscribers to the mailing list- the amount of the annual Young Researcher Award, the amount of travel grants distributed to students and postdocs in 2012, the amount of funding for colloquia in 2012.  This society organises many international and national events every year. Upcoming events include: 1.Cell biology of cancer ascb doorstep meeting, Moscone Center, San Francisco, California going to be held during December 3-7, 2016, 2nd international meeting (Building The Cell)  going to be held during September 28-30, 2016. Past events: 8th Imaging the Cell (Bordeaux) was held during 24-26 June 2015, 1st international meeting Building The Cell, Date(s) : 24-26 September 2014, 5th Symposium of the Cellular Adhesion Club, on May 15-16, 2014 in the gardens of Pharo in Marseille.
