Gastroenterological Society of Uruguay

Dr. Asadur Jorge Tchekmedyian is the president of the society. The Society of Gastroenterology of Uruguay was established in 1934, and identity legitimate conceded on 24 July 1958 represented by the present statutes. Its base camp is in the Department of Montevideo. 1994 with a specific end goal to celebrate the 60 years of the establishment of the Society of Gastroenterology of Uruguay (SGU. 14 XII 1934) and the 50 years of the production of the Clinic of Nutrition and Digestive of the Medicine Faculty (21 XII1944)  started the examination about how they were begun. Both institutionally solidified the claim to fame in the nation and are the beginning stage of another phase of the gastroenterological improvement. Likewise it leads them to know and to perceive the individuals who with their exertion had the vision and the ability to produce it.

This foundation aims to empower the change specialized and investigative of its accomplices. To cultivate the advancement and improvement of the activity of gastroenterology, in advantage of the patients, their partners and the group.
