Hellenic Society of Nephrology works with solitary resolution to promote scientific interactions between Greek researchers and clinicians who work with Nephrology. The Company publishes its notices and information about its activities through its website. Along with these, the presence of statistics, Renal and its several web links, hopes to be a preliminary point to research and knowledge in its respective disciplines as the nephrology researchers wish.

Hellenic Society of Nephrology also organizes several Educational Seminars, Meetings, Continual Medical Education in Nephrology. It also has a scientific journal, namely Hellenic Nephrology, through which it provides a platform to publish the research works of its members and hand that knowledge to be available to the rest of the world.

The Renal Section and Board of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) and the ERA-EDTA have been working jointly to harmonize European Nephrology Training. To this end, Hellenic Society of Nephrology has developed a New European Certificate in Nephrology Examination which is based on the MRCP UK specialist training examination in nephrology. Successful candidates will be awarded a ‘European Certificate in Nephrology’.
