The Hellenic Society for Virology is the National Society for Virology in Greece with solitary resolution to promote scientific interactions between Greek researchers and clinicians who work with viruses. HSV is an affiliated member of European Society for Virology (ESV). The HSV supports the actions of the European Society for Clinical Virology (ESCV).
The Hellenic Society for Virology was founded on 11th of July, 1984 and has organized around 9 National Conferences, till now, in the field of Virology. ââ¬â¹The mission of the Hellenic Society of Virology is to congregate scientific communications between researchers in Greece active in all aspects of virology. The specified aim of the Society is to develop the art and science of virology and to encourage and arouse the exchange of information and association among individual scientists. Conferring to the Charter of the Hellenic Society of Virology, every scientist or clinician from either Greece or overseas with more than three papers in any field of Virology is qualified as a member of the society.
