International Behavioural And Neural Genetics Society

To promote the growth of research in the field of neural behavioral genetics International Behavioural And Neural Genetics Society was established in the year of 1996 in Bandera, U.S, North America Continent. The members of the society has world wide study in genetic basis of behaviors and brain disorders together with the underlying neuronal mechanisms by using diverse species. The ultimate goal is to explain the molecular pathways through which genes together with the environment affects behavior. In 1994, European Neuroscience was in a constant change. Of course, later the society is not an international society and a need was recognized for a truly European-wide forum for the Successful field of the neurosciences. On 1998, 1 July, the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies, was founded in Berlin, Germany, with IBANGS as a founding member. FENS has become a big success since and IBANGS has given this through participation in the FENS Council and by organizing our Annual Meeting as a satellite of FENS.
