A constitution was received around then. The establishing officers were: Holmes Rolston, III, President; Eric Katz, Vice-President; Laura Westra, Secretary; and Peter Miller, Treasurer. Two abroad agents were named: Andrew Brennan for the UK and Europe; Robert Elliot for Australia and New Zealand. The rundown of agents has incredibly extended since. The ISEE Newsletter had, in suspicion of formal association, as of now printed Volume 1, 1990, with Holmes Rolston as Editor. Toward the start up, around 350 people had communicated their backing for establishing ISEE, in 20 distinct countries, a number that has since demonstrated the estimated enrollment.

Environmental Ethics International Society was an official onlooker NGO at the   Environment and Development of United Nations Conference, Rio de Janeiro, June 1992. Holmes Rolston and J. Baird Callicott were the agents. ISEE partook in the United Nations Conference on Ethical Issues in Agenda 21, January 1994, at the United Nations in New York.
