International Society for Hepatic Encephalopathy and Nitrogen Metabolism is a non-profit organization aimed at advancing logical and clinical exploration on metabolism of nitrogen and brain disorders associated with liver disease. It supports research in neuroscience, hepatology, metabolism, nutrition, any other scientific or clinical discipline contributing to the understanding of nitrogen metabolism and pathophysiology, diagnosis and management of liver related brain disorders.
