International Society for Nutrigenetics/ Nutrigenomics

In 2005, The International Society of Nutrigenetics/Nutrigenomics (ISNN) was built up under the Presidency of Artemis P. Simopoulos, MD (USA).

The mission of establishment behind the Society is to enhance the understanding of the role of genetic variation and individual dietary reaction, and the role of nutrients in gene expression generally. This reason for existing is sought after thorough examination and training of both experts and the overall population.

The Aims of the Society might be accomplished through advancing exploration on the role of genetic variation and dietary response and the role of nutrients in gene expression; characterizing the relationship amongst qualities and supplements from essential science to clinical states; setting up a Network of Center’s on Genetics, Nutrition and Health around the world; empowering the improvement of projects for hereditary qualities and sustenance in divisions of nourishment and hereditary qualities, and in schools of general well-being and medication; serving as a clearing-house for the media in scattering truths in regards to the part of hereditary variety and dietary reaction and the part of supplements in quality expression; instructing experts and people in general about the part of hereditary variety and dietary reaction and the part of supplements in quality expression; supporting territorial and global gatherings; and connecting with different associations which are national, local or universal, and joining endeavours to advance the points of the Society.

The Society is educational in its main goal to serve as a centre for correspondence among intrigued scientists working in a several disciplines such as nutrition, genetics, cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, clinical medicine, physiology, pathology, and public health considering the part of and dietary reaction and the part of genetic variation and dietary response and the role of nutrients in gene expression. It is trusted that enhanced correspondence over these distinctive branches of restorative and natural sciences will animate new research and increment information of quality supplement connections and genetic variation and dietary response. The Society will help with deciphering the new actualities into sound nutritious guidance for people in general. As required, the Society will build up boards of trustees to handle exploratory and instructive viewpoints.
