International Society of Citriculture

Being a permanent Non-Profit organization created in 1958 by citrus oriented scientists The International Society of Citriculture (ISC) is organizing its events in more than 13 countries since 1973. The ISC is junction rectifier by four government Officers that embrace the President, representing the country hosting future ISC Congress, the Immediate Past-president, United Nations agency hosted the previous Congress, the President-Elect, representing the host country of the long run Congress, and therefore the Secretary/Treasurer and by an government Committee, whose members are appointed by the President each four years supported the amount of ISC members in collaborating countries (Current By-Laws). Countries hosting ISC Congresses are chosen each four years through a proper bidding method (Host AN ISC Congress). The target of the ISC is to strengthen internationally the event of science and technology for the good thing about the worldwide citrus trade. Dirceu Mattos, Jr from Brazil is the current president for ISC, till now there are 13 presidents for this organization from different countries. The governing bodies include four executive officers and 24 committee members. Annually it organizes International citrus congress and it has organized its recent event in Brazil in 2016. In each congress it awards two fellow awards in its congress based on their contribution towards Citrus industry and activity and welfare of ISC.
