International Turf grass Society

The International Turf grass Society (ITS) is a not-for-benefit investigative association built up in 1969 to energize examination and training in turf grass science, and to advance individual correspondence among the universal group of turf grass specialists by arranging worldwide gatherings to present turf grass exploration and data on all periods of turf grass creation and use. To this end, International Turf grass Research Conferences (ITRC) is held at 4-year interims. The hosts for past gatherings have been England (1969), the United States (1973, 1993), Germany (1977), Canada (1981, 2001), France (1985), Japan (1989), Australia (1997), U.K. (2005), Chile (2009), and China (2013). The following ITRC will be held in New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA from July 16-21, 2017. A refereed Journal of turf grass research papers is distributed in conjunction with every gathering, and we plan to offer a possibility for production in a Journal with an Impact Factor.
