Japan Radiological Society

Japan Radiological Society was established in 1950 and was the first official company in the field of radiological science. JRS established its main administration office in Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo Prefecture. JRS aims to present the results of research, knowledge exchange, and facilitate collaboration among its members and relevant academic organizations in Japan and other countries in radiology and related areas to promote research in these areas and progress as well as enhance public awareness and also provide safe and high quality health care by conducting various activities that improve the health and welfare of the Japanese people. In order to achieve the objectives of the JRS must implement activities such as organizing academic conferences and meetings courses, publication of academic journals and other books, certification specialists and certified care facilities health, the implementation of training and education, promotion of research and recognition of research achievements, the implementation of studies and surveys, communication and collaboration with academic organizations relevant, promoting international cooperation and academic interactions, promotion and education activities and other activities necessary to achieve the objectives of the company. JRS are grouped in categories like full members who agree with the goals of the company and have expertise, skills or experience to work and research in radiology and its areas Related, support members or individuals, businesses, or organizations who agree with the goals of the company and provide support for their activities and honorary members who have made special achievements in areas related to society and are recommended in accordance with a resolution passed at a meeting of the board. The main objective of the company is to promote the radiological science in collaboration with various related companies. JRS is also interested in international cooperation for the progress of radiological science. JRS currently more than 7,500 members, including radiologists, physicists, etc.
