Japan Unix Society

Chief of Japan UNIX Society is Tetsuya Tatsuike. Japan UNIX Society (JUS) is for the purpose of promoting the healthy development of UNIX and open system of computer related fields with a focus on technology, culture, industry, to contribute to the development of society. It is a non-profit organization in that activity. Japan UNIX Society is a pioneer of user groups on Japanese UNIX and open systems, members around the UNIX who have carried out various activities. UNIX technology has been developed by a discussion of user-driven. JUS also has contributed to such UNIX development form. Advanced technology and, picked up that high interest of the user as a theme, workshops have been held on an irregular basis. Since its inception, it has been conducting workshops on various UNIX platforms and also held numerous study sessions to help the student understand the basic concepts and algorithm behind the UNIX platform. General Assemblies are conducted occasionally and a large group of interested students, professors, developers attends the meeting and share their knowledge on this UNIX platform. It also releases video tutorials which are very helpful for the people who are looking for the professional knowledge in the software field. Japan UNIX Users Group is Developers Summit is the official community responsible for conducting various workshops, study sessions, general assemblies and conferences.
