With the aim of promoting knowledge in the field of science & technology1966 Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies proposed the enactment of Science and Technology Promotion Act as well as establishment of the Ministry of Science and Technology- 1967. Science and Technology Promotion Act enacted and the Ministry of Science and Technology established. - 1967. Customs law amended and Science Day declared. 1980 Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies suggested the ways to promote science and technology.- 1980. Reflected in Article 121 and 128 of the Constitution amended 1997 Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies proposed the elevation of the Ministry of Science and Technology and promotion of Minister to Deputy Prime Minister.- 1998. Ministry of Science and Technology elevated. Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies is supported by the presence & history of 17presidents &17associations with the 18,584 members all over the globe. They are about 12regional federations & total 12 regional presidents & total individuals of 2401 members
