Leicestershire Entomological Society

Leicestershire Entomological Society deals in study and interest of insects of Leicestershire. The society was established in year 2009 with an aim of promoting wild places in Leicestershire and explores its wildlife. The society also helps in increasing public awareness and interest in local wildlife and its biodiversity. Leicestershire Entomological Society is run by volunteers and is a registered charity. The distribution of task is between people with varying time and according to their interest and skills. Aim of Leicestershire Entomological Society:
 

  1. To help public identify and learn about the local environment and natural wildlife.
  2. To showcase with public participation the wild places and wildlife of Leicestershire.
  3. Support and conserve the biodiversity.
