The 2016 MDA Foundation Michigan Mission of Mercy served 968 patients and gave about $1 million worth of dental consideration, to distraught people — another case of dentistry's dedication to access-to-consideration. The MOM occurred June 10 and 11 on the grounds of Macomb Community College in Warren. Of the 968 patients, 281 returned for extra treatment, with an aggregate of 1,249 patient visits in general. "Their part dental specialists, dental colleagues, and different volunteers worked their hearts out to help many individuals access dental administrations," said MDA CEO/Executive Director Karen Burgess. Their main goal is to give humane and down to earth help to those in need, tending to the entire individual with poise and regard, while reestablishing grins and sense of pride. We have been effectively meeting that mission by giving general preventive and therapeutic consideration at no charge to low-wage, uninsured youngsters and grown-ups in Ypsilanti and the encompassing territories since 1993.
