National Association For Black Geologists And Geophysicists

National Association of Black Geologists and Geophysicists is a Non-profit  organization established in the month June of 1981 by a group of black geoscientists in the Houston/Dallas area. the following organization is incorporated in the State of Texas with in its headquarters in Houston, Texas. The NABGG was organized to Inform all over the students of career opportunities that exist in the fieldof Geosciences encourage them to take any relvent advantages of scholarship programs, grant, loans, etc., and that will be established for minority students.

Give financial support to students pursuing degrees in the feild of Geology and Geophysics. - Follow the educational careers of the scholarship recipients have the aid minority students in the search for summer employment and aid corporate members interested in obtaining summer employees for positions that will give a enhance the students' background and marketability. - Allow minority geologists and geophysicists to the establish professional and inter-related companies relationships - Assist in the development of professional standards & practices of members within their geoscience careers and entrepreneurial pursuits.
