The National Rehabilitation Association is the oldest (since 1923) professional member organization in the United States that prostitutes for the rights of individuals with disabilities while also promoting high quality, ethical, and collaborative practice around the rehabilitation profession. The NRA, comprised of counsellors, educators, researchers, and diverse agents of community unity, is committed to continuously impacting and improving upon the multifaceted conditions, across our society, necessary to encouraging quality of life of individuals with disabilities, their families, and our communities. To provide exemplary leadership through social advocacy and legislation, advance cultural awareness and competence across communities, promote excellence in research and practice, and support professionals engaged in the recruiting and independence of individuals with disabilities.
