Now, Joan Barr is the president of the Pennsylvania Association of Cancer Registrars (PACR). Pennsylvania Association for Cancer Registrars (PACR) is a non-profit association presenting cancer registry professionals and licensed tumour Registrars. PACR’s primary focus is education and certification with the aim to confirm all cancer registry professionals have the desired information to be superior in their field. Cancer Registrars capture a whole outline of the history, diagnosis, cures and disease status for each cancer patient. Registrars’ work ends up in higher information that's utilized in the management of cancer and ultimately cures. A cancer registry is a data system designed for the gathering, management, and analysis of information on persons with the identification of a malignant or cancer (neoplastic disease). The motive of PACR shall be to advertise the ideals of the Cancer Registrar as an expert on the health care team and to be of larger service to the cancer patient, health care directors, and physicians.
