The Education Committee organizes annual courses helpful for pathologists in their researches.

The association was created as a system for engendering enthusiasm for gastrointestinal pathology. For underlining the significance of gastrointestinal pathology as a refined and complex zone of pathology .The association was created for sharing data among individuals & for creating joint investigative endeavour among its individuals It also provides platform for setting up referral focuses or referral instruments for particular sorts of case issues & for conceiving a registry for surprising cases.

The society has privileged links with international societies American Gastroenterological Society, United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology , The American Society for Investigative Pathology , Hans Popper Hepatopathology Society & American Society for Clinical Pathology.CME Credit is provided for its annual meetings.
