Slovenian Society of Hematology

The birthplace of our Society about-faces to October 1964, when an uncommon Section for Hematology and Transfusion Medicine was established inside the Slovenian Medical Association. The Section stayed dynamic until 1969, when transfusion pros isolated to shape an autonomous association. The Section for Hematology was established in April of the next year. In March 1999 it was changed into the Slovenian Hematological Society. At present our participation incorporates more than 60 internists, pediatricians, researcher and different specialists with unique enthusiasm for hematology. Our Society is an individual from the Slovenian Medical Association and the European Hematology Association. In collaboration by the Slovenian public  aimed at Transfusion Treatment, we compose two gatherings for each year, at which subjects of current interest are talked about. The Society holds a congress at interims of four years.
