Ghana is a branch of SWAA International, a Pan African Women's association with its central command in Senegal. SWAA International was conceived out of a meeting in Stockholm, Sweden; where a couple of African ladies met up and perceived that in Africa, there was a need to concentrate on the NGO area and ladies in the battle against HIV/AIDS.
